Job Description

Runtastic Events, Utah’s largest race series, is seeking a contract position as a Course Set-Up Manager. Runtastic Events provides runners with a unique, themed racing experiences, benefiting  causes and communities across Utah..

Position Objective and Description:

The Course Manager will be expected to manage course set-up for each contracted race. All equipment and tools will be provided.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

-Prep and Load Course Equipment from storage

-Setup Mile Markers

-Setup Directions Signs (Turns, Caution Runner On Road, Straight, Etc.)

-Paint Arrows or Stick Route Arrows to Road

-Caution tape paths, trails that could cause route confusion

-Cone route or verify route has been coned correctly by barricade company

-Verify Course Volunteers are properly stationed and prepped

-Pick up Mile Markers, Directional Signs, etc.

-Relieve Course Volunteers of Duties

-Unload and organize course equipment to storage

Skills/Qualifications:

-Must have clean driving record

-Experience with maneuvering trailers and large vehicles

-Professional attitude and work ethic

-Detail and task oriented

-Organized and timely

-Can lift 60 lbs above head

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20-$25 an hour
