What if I can’t make it to packet pick-up?
If you can’t make it to the Race Expo to pick up your packet and do not know someone who can get it for you, you can pick it up the morning of the race (up to 60 minutes before the race starts or bus loading times) at the blue Runtastic Information tent by the Finish Line for a $15 FEE to be paid with cash or a card.
When is the last day and time to register?
If the race is not sold out, you can REGISTER ONLINE the day of the race up to 60 minutes before the race starts or the beginning of bus loading, until these cut-off times: Half Marathon – 3:45 AM, 10K – 5:30 AM, 5K – 6:00 AM, Kids Run – 8:00 AM.
If you registered after the expo, head to the blue Runtastic Information Tent to pick up your race bib. A $15 LATE FEE will apply and can be paid with cash or a card. Runners with races that are riding the bus will need to come at the beginning of the bus loading times to ensure you can take the bus to the start line. You may pick up your race packet and shirt following your race.

Are there discounts for races?
Yes, you can earn points to use for race entries by Volunteering!
There are discounts for registering 4 or more people in one transaction,* and for registering for 2 or more races in one transaction.**
*Discounts can’t be combined. If you are using a promo code, make sure you don’t register more than 3 people in one transaction as the automatic multi-person discount will override promo codes.

Can I volunteer at the same race I want to use my race credit for?
No, all volunteer credit must be earned at a previous event. Check out our Volunteer page for more details.
RACE EXPO & PACKET PICK-UP

Can I bring my pet to the expo?
Yes, since the TIMP expo location is outdoors, well-behaved, always on-leash dogs/pets are permited at the Race Expo (packet pickup). They are also not allowed at any start line, or anywhere on the course.
Well-behaved, always on-leash dogs/pets may attend the post-race Finish Line festivities to cheer on runners. Due to large crowds and race sizes, we encourage you to leave all pets at home for the day for both the safety of participants and the pets.
Is there a lost and found?
If you lose an item at the race, please visit the Blue Runtastic Information Tent during the event to see if it has been turned in. Items not picked up at the event will be taken to our office. RACE DAY
Is there a bin to drop clothing I want back on any of the courses?
*NEW POLICY* THERE ARE NO CLOTHING DROPS ON THE COURSE.
ANY CLOTHING OR ITEMS DROPPED AT THE START LINE OR ALONG THE COURSE WILL BE PICKED UP TO BE DISCARDED OR DONATED. Half Marathon & 10K Runners: If there are clothing or items you might not want to wear or carry the whole race, please plan on putting these items in your drop bag or a designated DONATION bin at the start of the race. We appreciate your help in striving to keep the community clean that is allowing us to run!
As a courtesy, any drop bags that are not picked up at the Pick-up Corral at the Finish Bag during the race will be taken to Runtastic’s office at 50 North Center St. American Fork, UT 84003. Your bag can be picked up the week following the race from our office lobby on the weekdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Loose clothing or other items not in drop bags at the end of the event will be donated.

Can I get clothing or items back that I drop anywhere on the course?
*PLEASE NOTE THIS NEW POLICY* Any clothing or items dropped along the course and NOT in your designated drop bag will be picked up to be discarded or donated. If you plan to drop items that you don’t intend to get back, please try to do so at the start of the race to help us strive to keep the communities clean that are allowing us to run!
Will the race be canceled because of the weather?
The race will not be canceled for weather.
Can I pick up my bib on race day?

Do I need to ride the bus to the Half Marathon and 10K start lines?
Yes, all Half Marathon runners* must ride the bus to the start of the race. There is there is NO PARKING at the start.
Buses will also be provided for all 10K runners*. This race also has an option to be dropped off at the start, but there is NO PARKING. See the bus loading times, locations, and 10K drop off location under PARKING & TRANSPORTATION on the TIMP’s main page.

Can I bring my baby or child on the bus with me to push in a stroller to run the Half Marathon or 10K?
Unfortunately, children under the age of 5 years old are not permitted to ride the buses, per the bus company’s policy. Strollers for children are also not permitted on the half marathon course. If you would like to push your kids in a stroller at the event, we would love to have you join our 10K or 5K race!
10K runners will strollers must make arrangments to be dropped off at the 10K start. There is NO PARKING at the start. See more information under PARKING & TRANSPORTATION on TIMP’s main page.

Are strollers allowed in any of the races?
Yes, strollers are allowed in the 10K, 5K race, and Kids Run. Strollers are NOT permitted on the Half Marathon course or on the buses.
If you would like to run with a stroll in the 10K, please make arrangements to be dropped off with your stroller at the start. See more information under PARKING & TRANSPORTATION on TIMP’s main page. There is NO PARKING at the 10K start.
If you are running with a stroller, please be courteous to the other runners and go to the back of the start wave.
Can I run with my kids in the Kids Run?
If your kids need extra encouragement or help, you can run with them in the Kids Run without signing up. However, only children under 12 years old and registered for the race will receive a shirt and medal. Please make sure they are wearing their race bib to receive a finisher’s medal. If you are running with a stroller, please be courteous to the other runners and go to the back of the start wave.
We will have someone running in front of the kids to lead them on the race path to the finish line.
Can I track people running or have others track me on the course?
Yes! To give or get live cheers, updates, and a heads-up on turns and aid stations, download the RaceJoy app and run smarter, not harder.
Your friends can follow you, send cheers, and know right where you are on the course.
Everyone who wants to be tracked or send kudos needs to download the app!

What if I get lost running the course?
We strive to make every effort to have the courses effectively marked with signs and flaggers to help direct runners. However, it is the runner’s responsibility to know the course. Before the race, please review your COURSE MAP.
You can also download RaceJoy app on Apple or Google Play to get a heads-up on turns and aid station locations while you’re running the course. Plus all the other benefits of RaceJoy that are listed above!
Are there pacers to run with on the Half Marathon course?
Yes, the RYR Pacers will be pacing the Half Marathon runners to help them achieve a new PR!
To run with a pace group, look for the pacer holding up a sign with the finishing time you want to achieve on it. The overall time listed will get faster as you get closer to the starting line. Please find your pacer and line up behind them to ensure you will start and be around other runners with a similar pace.
Is there a cut off time or time limit for the race?
The half marathon course is supported for 3:15 hours until 9:15 AM. Participants must average a 14:52 minute per mile pace to compete in our event. If you fall behind this pace, a 3:15 pacer will alert you that if you are unable to stay with them, there will be no course support behind them. All of the police, directional signage, porta potties, aid stations and finish line are part of the course support that may not be available for participants that fall behind the 3:15 pacer. If you are passed by the 3:15 pacer, please make arrangements to be picked up or be prepared to self-support your run and no longer be considered a participant of the event. American Fork Canyon will open to cars at 8:00 AM.
If you feel you will not be able to finish the Half Marathon course in the allotted time, we ask that you switch to participating in the 10K or 5K race instead. If you need to change your race distance or defer, make sure you do it before the deadline!
Can I bring my pet to the race?
Dogs/Pets are NOT allowed at any start line, or anywhere on the course. Well-behaved, always on-leash dogs may attend the post-race Finish Line festivities to cheer on runners. Is there a lost and found at the event?
After you cross the finish line, head to the blue Runtastic Information tent to pick up your pre-ordered proxy medal — a meaningful memento to share with the cancer warrior you ran for.
If I ordered a proxy medal for someone I'm running for, how and where do I pick it up?
If you lose an item at the race, please visit the blue Runtastic Information tent during the event to see if it has been turned in. Items not picked up at the event will be taken to our office. POST-RACE
How do I look up and download my race photos?
As part of your registration, all Runtastic races include FREE race day photos for all your post-race bragging.
Your social media sized pictures will be available to view and download HERE within a few days following the race. Search for your photos by your BIB number or name, or see all your tagged photos under your name in the Race RESULTS.
If you’re having trouble finding your photos, check the “Untagged Photos” link on the top right. And if you “run” across any bib numbers that aren’t tagged, feel free to tag them and help out your running friends.
And make sure to tag us on social media in all your race day glory!
How do I look up my race results?
After you cross the finish line, you can check your Race RESULTS online, or head to The Race Time’s gray results trailer to print out your results.
