About the Course
Start your race with a breathtaking sunrise at Tibble Fork Reservoir, then enjoy a scenic, USATF-certified downhill course all the way to Art Dye Park.
Miles 1–7: Cruise through American Fork Canyon in a closed lane — surrounded by towering rock walls, flowing river, and crisp mountain air.
Miles 8–10: Continue downhill on paved Cedar Hills trails alongside golf courses and through well-kept city paths.
Miles 11–13.1: Finish strong on the Murdock Canal Trail, passing open farmland with a final descent into Art Dye Park and a fast, flat sprint to the finish line.
– The Memory Mile is the last mile of the course, lined with signs that runners have submitted to honor someone impacted by cancer. It’s a powerful reminder of who we run for. Create a Memory Mile sign.
This is one of Utah’s most beautiful, PR-friendly half marathon courses.
