I ran my first half at the end of 2018. My goal for 2019 was to get the Trilogy medal and Timp was on the list but I was unable to run Timp because of family obligations that weekend. Little did I know that two weeks after running the Haunted Half (and getting my medal) that I would be diagnosed with Colon Cancer.

I was then more determined to run Timp. I had surgery and I have now completed chemo. I did not anticipate how hard it would be for my body to recover from chemo and it has been difficult to run for very long so I will not be able to run the half this year but most definitely for next year.
