About The Course
You’ll be inspired right from the start! Watch the sunrise from gorgeous Tibblefork Reservoir as you await the 6am start.
Miles 1-7: Down American Fork Canyon running in a closed lane allowing you the freedom to experience more deeply the canyon, its rock formations, its river, its inspiring views!
Miles 8-10: Along the Cedar Hills paved trail. Continue the scenic downhill tour leaving the canyon and running next to the golf course and through the well kept paved city trails.
Miles 11-13: Murdock Canal Trail. The last two miles will take you past farmland and alfalfa fields still slowly dropping in elevation.
Finish strong with a drop into Art Dye Park and a straight sprint to the finish!

Half Marathon
The Timp Half Marathon is a downhill course that begins at Tibble Fork Reservoir Parking Lot American Fork Canyon. As you run down the canyon you will experience the cool mountain air as well as the natural beauty of the canyon.
Once you exit the canyon you take a slight left and run on the Highland City Trails. These trails are paved and offer a pleasant running environment without any cars or traffic. Those trails will then lead you to the new Murdock Canal trails, which are also paved. These trails provide a scenic view through Highland and Cedar Hills.
