I ran the LA marathon the Sunday before everything closed down. It was my first marathon. I used the first 3 weeks to recover and self-isolate after being around so many people. Since then I have had a hard time staying motivated while being stuck inside and worried about protecting my asthmatic son. This was the best first step back towards getting back into running.
It was money toward something positive, and now I have a medal to remember the tough times. I ran a marathon. It gets harder as you get closer to the finish. So is this quarantine. It will get worse, but it will also end. I will endure to the end.
