Job Title: Web Developer – WordPress (Contract Position)

Are you a talented Web Developer with experience in WordPress and a passion for the running community? We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team on a contract basis, focusing on the redesign of our company’s website. If you have experience in creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites and are excited about contributing to the running events industry, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to understand the vision and goals for the overall redesign of our website.
- Utilize your expertise in WordPress to create a modern, responsive, and engaging website that reflects the dynamic nature of our running events.
- Implement and customize themes, plugins, and other elements to enhance the website’s functionality and user experience.
- Ensure the website is optimized for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the development process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong focus on WordPress.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages.
- A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects and highlighting your ability to create visually appealing and functional websites.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to create a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within specified timelines.
Contract Details:
- The contract will be for the period of February through June 2024, with potential for future projects based on performance and company needs.
- Compensation will be on a per-project basis, with agreed-upon rates for the website redesign.
- Work will be primarily remote, with occasional virtual team meetings.
